Based in Gibraltar with another office the heart of Manchester, Grace Media and the Betable Group is a team with knowledge and dedication to online gaming running through its DNA. It is responsible for delivering top-class online gaming experiences for customers of over 50 online casino and bingo sites in over 25 countries around the World. We manage everything from innovative marketing to regulatory compliance, from B2B account management to financial analysis, and from customer service to payments and risk. The Betable group approach all of this with an ethos of social responsibility, invention, and teamwork.

This role for Sportsbook Manager excludes any Trader requirements as these will be completed by the Platform provider. The individual is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a sportsbook, ensuring that the business runs efficiently and that customers have a positive betting experience. The role focuses on managerial and operational tasks, excluding trading. You will be leading the sportsbook product, within the company, dealing with the providers as well as internal teams to get the best out outcomes you can. Reporting directly into the Operations Director you will be part of the management team and have direct influence on decisions made around the business.

The Sportsbook Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the product is being promoted in the correct manner to players for all brands across the network. Having ownership of product strategy/roadmap and will need to consider how to keep the product at the forefront of the industry. Experience of launching and building a Sports product within the UK market is essential to the role success.

Key Responsibilities


  • Reporting directly to and assisting the Operations Director
  • Owning the sportsbook product and defining its roadmap
  • Daily reporting, management, and execution
  • Own and manage the full product performance
  • Engaging all departments to ensure KPIs are being achieved and a positive ROI is being achieved on marketing spend
  • Being the point of contact for third party providers related to the product
  • Ensuring all departments are aware of upcoming events on the sportsbook product
  • Ensuring that the product is running in accordance with business expectations and KPIs
  • Working with in house acquisition teams to ensure best returns on marketing budgets
  • Liaising with the Account Managers to give and receive feedback for White Label partners
  • Monitor competitors to ensure the product maintains a competitive advantage
  • Being a brand advocate for Grace Media and Partners
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sportsbook, ensuring smooth functionality across all areas.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including ensuring compliance with licensing and operating conditions.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and address customer inquiries, complaints, or issues related to betting transactions, payment issues, or account management.
  • Work with marketing and promotions teams to create, build, and engage offers, attractive bonuses and rewards to customers, improving customer retention.
  • Work with compliance teams to ensure the sportsbook follows relevant gaming laws and company policies.
  • Monitor and enforce responsible gambling practices
  • Analyse data on betting trends, customer preferences, and operational efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the trading team to ensure alignment on promotional offerings and market conditions.

Experience and Skills


  • Knowledge of Sportsbook product and the industry. UK essential
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle
  • Proven record of strong product knowledge and performance management
  • Understanding of different Geos and preferences from around the world
  • Able to multi-task and meet key deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder management
